Skandinavienkai, the biggest terminal in the Port of Lübeck
Due to an article in the "Lübecker Nachrichten" newspaper, in which was written about the port Extension (and unfortunately not printed in full details), it went to the Skandinavienkai.
There is probably Lübeck´s construction site with most construction equipment, because it must be removed about 860,000 m³ of soil.
These are driven into the old sand pit of the Possehl company.
For this purpose, a construction road was specially created, on which the up to 25 haulers (ADT´s from VOLVO) transport the material. Furthermore, several dozers and large excavators are in use.
Incidentally, the picture of the dried-up soil did not originate in the desert. This was taken here with us.
For four weeks we have wonderful summer weather in northern part Germany.
